What is the Home Improvement Scheme

From 20 February 2017 until 2 June 2017 the Northern Territory Government offered eligible homeowner-occupiers the opportunity to apply for a voucher to get work done on their home.

The voucher are worth up to $4,000 and can go towards jobs of up to $20,000.

Homeowners still need to pay for at least half of the job themselves.

Homeowners who had previously received and used a voucher through the Home Improvement Scheme, were eligible to apply again. The second voucher was worth up to $2,000.

Applications for new vouchers under the Home Improvement Scheme closed on Friday 2 June at 5pm.
